Laminin integration to iDocs
This document serves as quick guide on how to submit your applications to iDocs
using the Laminin platform.
Before you can submit an application to iDocs you would need to capture the required fields on Laminin from the Lead Interface. The required fields are listed below and are highlighted in yellow on the image below.
- Title
- First Name
- Last Name
- ID Number
- Mobile Phone
To capture the client’s information you would need to enter “Edit Mode”. This can be achieved by clicking on the “Edit” button in the top right of the Lead Fields block. This is indicated by the red arrow on the image below.
Once you have entered into “Edit Mode” your interface will change to the one pictured below and you will be able to capture the client information.
Any required fields are marked by a red highlight to the left of the field; this is marked with the red arrow in the image below next to the Title field. Once you have entered a valid value into the field, this indicator will disappear as indicated by the green arrow next to the Last Name field.
Also, please note that, should there be any mandatory fields that are still required, a yellow “Attention” symbol will be visible as indicated by the blue arrow.
Next, scroll down and click on the “Save” button below the Lead Fields to commit the updated values. This button will be disabled until all required fields have been captured.
After capturing the client details, you may proceed to click the “Send to iDocs” button available under the Lead Actions at the top of the Leads Interface.
This will create the application in iDocs with the client information you have captured on Laminin. Navigating to the Leads Dashboard in iDocs will give you access to open the new application.
Creating an application in iDocs using Laminin and the prescribed steps will link the lead in Laminin with the application in iDocs. By doing this Laminin will be updated automatically with any changes in iDocs. This will reflect as a change in the State of the Laminin lead.
Examples of these states include:
- Created Applicant
- Budget Generated
- Form 16 Generated
- Form 16 Sent
- Partially Signed
- Signed
Please note: any application that is not created in the prescribed method will not be eligible for the automated state updates and will require the user to manually update the progress of the Laminin lead to reflect that of the iDocs state.
