How to extract data from a customer's credit report and enrich a lead in Laminin

1. In this example we want to extract the customer's phone number from the credit report and add it to a lead field in Laminin


The lead mapping is done in the Laminin Admin interface, any value from the credit report can be mapped to a unique lead field. In our example we are interested in obtaining the contact number associated with the customer from the credit report and will populate this number into the "Bureau Mobile" lead field.

In this example we want to extract the customer's phone number from the credit report


2. To start the process, click on Verify

This will call the iBureau API to start the Credit Check process

3. A pop-up screen with the customer's information will be displayed

4. Click on Continue

5. A consent request SMS with a link is sent from iBureau to the customer. The customer has to click on the link to give consent to the credit check.

6. Once the customer consents, the pop-up screen will KYC verification information. The agent must ask these questions to the customer and answer each question on the pop-up screen on behalf of the customer.

7. Once all questions have been answered, click on Continue

8. If all questions were answered correctly, the pop-up screen will change to display "Credit check completed successfully"

9. Click on Close

10. The lead fields in Laminin are now enriched with information from the credit report

In our example we extracted the contact number for this customer from the credit report and populated this number into the "Bureau Mobile" lead field.
